A.J Hackett

 Hey guys today I have been learning about NZ inventor A.J Hackett. Would you go bungee jumping? Have a go!

What? Bungee jumping is something where you jump off a ledge and go down. But it's ok because there's a rope where it holds you so you don't fall off.

Who? A.J Hackett is the person that invented Bungee jumping

When? He invented it in 1987.

Why? He did it so people could get butterflies and get thrills  and have so much fun with it too. People say they're expensive to do but only rich people could afford it.

What do I think? What I think about this invention is it’s very good because people get a thrill.

Steamed powered car.

 Its about who made that cars and petrol 2.The book is an article.

4.This article is about people producing electric cars and steamed cars too and also and other stuff too.

5.know that the cost of gas has soared over a couple of years,and that air is becoming polluted with fumes,a steam powered car could be the car of the best time in the world in the future.     

6. Yes I would buy a steamed powered car to get me to places like my parents

Aim:To demonstrate how to heat a liquid inside a test tube.

Equipment:Bunsen burner, Heatproof mat,Lighter test tube,tube tongs and safety glasses.

Method:

1.Light the Bunsen burner.

2.Fill your test tube to appoximatetly Sml water 

3.Turn the collar at the Bunsen burner so the flame is blue.

The super helper.

 My super helper does picking the rubbish up and  helps other people that need help like crossing the road or other things he does a lot of things actually.Hes a person like you but with powers and the powers he has is lightning and super strong arms and legs too.He eats normal food just like you do but he never takes his suit off just when he changes suits.

Hans on Fire

 Tittle:Hands on Fire 

Aim: 

I want to SAFELY light my hands on fire.

Before we do this activity safely we need to be aware of the features 

Activity: In pairs you need to come up with a list of 5 safety items  that be included when doing this experiment.

1.Collect your equipment 

2.pt some water into the tray

3.squirt some detergent into the water 

4.put safety glasses on

5.Tie up hair

6.Take off any jewellery

7.wet your hands,wrist and arms.

8.Bubble the gas into water 

9.scoop the bubble but not the water 

10.Hold the bubbles in front of your face with your arms locked.

I saw flames on my hands.

I felt burning hot steam on my hands.

I heard the flames blow and other kids around me.

I smelled fire and gas.

1.Change the title:special cars.

2.The book was an article.

3.The author is: Bronwen Wall.

4.The story was about cars and not only cars they were the first steam cars.

Carry heavy loads

It's not easier to use steamed cars for your stuff cause it can overload and the car can brake and some one can crash into you.

Travel far - easier than walking

Sometimes steam cars can break down or the wheels could break.

6.Cars made it even faster to move around and keep in contact with your family members , but they were very pricey to buy. Only rich people could buy one.

7. I would drive and own my own steamed car so I can travel places or put my stuff on the back or inside.
